Author Guidelines and Submission

Please review the guidelines and checklist below before submitting your manuscript.

General Rules

Manuscripts may be written in Turkish or English. Regardless of language, every manuscript must include a title, abstract (150–250 words) and 3–6 keywords in both Turkish and English.

Preparing Files

  • The full-text file (DOCX) must not contain author information.
  • Author names, affiliations, ORCID iDs and contact details must be provided in a separate Title Page file.
  • Use Times New Roman 12 pt with 1.5 line spacing.
  • Figures and tables must be numbered and captioned in the text.

References

Use APA 7 style.

Similarity Check

All submissions are screened with iThenticate; the similarity index (excluding references) must not exceed 20%.

Submission Checklist

You will be asked to confirm all of the following items when submitting.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  2. The manuscript follows the journal's author guidelines and template.
  3. All author names, affiliations and identifying statements have been removed from the full-text file (double-blind review).
  4. References follow APA 7 style, with DOIs provided wherever available.
  5. Where required, ethics committee approval has been obtained and uploaded.

Article Types

Research Article

Studies of 6,000–9,000 words presenting original data, methods or findings. Abstract: max. 250 words.

Review Article

Systematic appraisals of recent literature by authors with expertise in the field. Abstract: max. 300 words.

Technical Note

Short papers (max. 4,000 words) introducing a new method, tool or application. Abstract: max. 200 words.

Submission Process

  1. Register or log in.
  2. Start the 5-step submission wizard with "Submit Article"; choose the section and language and confirm the checklist.
  3. Upload the anonymised full text and a separate title page.
  4. Enter the title, abstract and keywords in Turkish and English, plus references and declarations.
  5. Add all authors and complete your submission. You can follow its progress from your dashboard.

Authors retain copyright of articles published in the journal. Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, with the right of first publication granted to the journal.
